2 point car? by Ultimaodin 2 point car? by Ultimaodin
A car I attempted to draw in 2 point perspective. It came out a bit weird.

I guess one thing that feels weird about it is the tire, it's to far to the front. Also you must think about that the further back things are, the smaller things get, so now the car looks like it's a stretch limo. :) Good practice though. I wish I had a lot of time to draw as well!

Yes I was trying to take into consideration the size but not enough obviously (the roof of the car is a bit less than half the bonnet) Perspective screws with me ai, never been good at it. I understand it perfectly I just seem incapable of doing it myself.
I knew something about the wheel was pissing me off but I just couldn't work it out. =D
Aside from these Uni drawings I have to do, I don't have anytime at the moment. Especially with my 3D unit. =/

Yeah, I know. I'm not too fond of perspective either, but I guess that's a thing one has to learn.
I guess you are studying art? What program? Keep up the good work!

I'm studying 'Games Art and Design' and 'Games Software and Production'. I want to be a designer and I need to know all the elements. This is just a first year drawing class made for beginners, believe it or not in my class I'm actually rather high up. (For most things anyway, I think perspective I'm not doing to good at in comparison to others)
I'm used to working in forced perspectives for pixelart (top down and isometric) and 3D has zero perspective except when doing background textures. (I'm still only in an intro for that as well)
I honestly prefer programming more than the art side and am keen to learn C#. (self teaching doesn't work for me and programming)
